In footage that has since gone viral, landlord Rod Humphris was seen demanding the Labour Party leader left his Raven pub in Bath on Monday afternoon. Mr Humphyris told talkRADIO that Sir Keir Starmer was not welcome in his pub due to his ‘failure’ as Leader of the Opposition.
Mr Humphyris said: “He should be talking about all the evidence that lockdown is a mistake.
“It is his job to challenge the Government, he has utterly failed.
“One of the reasons I was angry is that fundamentally I am a Labour voter.
“He should be representing the old, the young, the poor and the disadvantaged, these are the people that have been hurt by this most.

“It is his job to represent them and he has failed.”
During the interview with talkRADIO, the landlord admitted that the UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson would also not be welcome in his pub due to his stance on lockdown.
Earlier on Monday following his clash with Sir Keir, Mr Humphryis said: “I had heard that the Labour Party were coming round and he turned up and I told him what I thought of him, basically.
“I think he has utterly failed us as the Leader of the Opposition, he has completely failed to ask the questions that needed asking, like, why did we throw away our previous pandemic preparedness?
Earlier today Sir Keir tweeted: “Today is the last chance to #RegisterToVote for the elections on Thursday 6th May.
“It’s the biggest set of elections, outside of a General Election, in our country’s history. Register now.”
The election results will provide the clearest indication yet on Sir Keir Starmer’s performance as leader of the Labour Party in the eyes of the British public.
Sir Keir has been the Leader of the Opposition since April 2020.
