Teenage gang including a 14-year-old boy charged with carjacking a stranger at knifepoint before taking off with his VW Golf

A gang of knife-wielding teenagers have been charged with carjacking a stranger and taking off in his Volkswagen Golf.
At about 12.15am on Wednesday, a 20-year-old man was sitting in his white VW Golf in Toongabbie, Western Sydney, when three unknown teens armed with knives allegedly approached the car and forced him out.
The trio allegedly entered the car and drove off along Junia Street.

The man was not injured and ran home before contacting police.
At about 2am, police spotted the hatchback travelling along Rossvale Street and a pursuit began.
Police stopped their chase shortly afterwards in Blacktown due to the manner of driving.
Later that morning at about 9.30am, officers noticed the vehicle parked on Rossvale Street at Seven Hills.
As police approached the car, the driver allegedly attempted to drive away but failed.
Three teens were later arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with various offences including armed robbery.
A 17-year-old girl was charged with drive conveyance taken without consent of owner.
A 14-year-old boy was charged with drive conveyance taken w/o consent of owner and fail or refuse to disclose identity as required.
All three were refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Thursday.
Three teens were later arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station
